OOO Orbitek LLC WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2021 IN ORDER TO MEET THE EVER-GROWING NEEDS OF SPACE INDUSTRY.

The company has extensive engineering and administrative platforms located in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

 

The aim is to design and commercialize products of new generation, implement state-of-the-art technologies and design solutions aimed at cost reduction and thus enhancing the quality of thrusters produced.

CRUCIAL STAGE FOR SPACE THRUSTER PRODUCTION – TESTING

The company’s ideology is focused on testing the product in environment close to the real one. To test an electric propulsion (EP) one needs to simulate space conditions, mostly the vacuum.

THRUSTERS AND PROPULSION UNITS ARE  UNIQUE

The production approach is mostly individually-oriented. Starting with the design specification, main calculations and technical project, we discuss together with Customer’s specialists all ins and outs of technical performances that a thruster is expected to have, and thus create a working design documentation to manufacture a new product.

Products

Thrusters represent the solution for a standard EP mission, namely to bring a spacecraft (S/C) to its operating point and stabilize the orbit along the lifetime, as well as to change the said operating point when necessary and perform de-orbiting maneuver to the disposal orbit.
